Hello Wolfpack, Today, I thought I would share how I create my characters for all my stories. From background to the main characters I plan them all. Some with more detail than others. I created a simple word document that I am sharing with all of you! It is detail from a characters name, age, and birthday, to questions like what is your character afraid of? To your characters best friends to you character's enemies, the list goes on. I have used this document for all my stories in my note books when creating characters for any of my stories. You are all more than welcome to use it to help you plan out your characters for your stories. The only thing I ask is that if you want to share or shout out my document to give me credit. I am more than happy to share my documents and any episode help with you all. I hope you all enjoy this document and use it to your advantage! I am going to show you how to add Zooms and Transitions to your stories. Zooms and Transitions can be very useful in a story to switch between between scene, to end your episode, to zoom in on characters, or to express a tense moment. We will be learning about timed zooms ,regular zoom, timed transitions, and regular transitions. Zooms: Using zooms in a story is a simple equation to use. The formula episode gives us is this: @zoom on X Y to % in s X= Focus Coordinate Y= Focus Coordinate %= Zoom Level S= Seconds The X,Y coordinates and zoom % are displayed in the gray banner beneath the buttons. To switch between Zoom and Focus you just simply click on the Switch Tool show in the picture. To reset ANY zoom simply type the following: @zoom reset This will reset you zoom back to its original setting. Timed Zooms: Timed zooms follow the same steps above except we are going to focus more on the S in the equation. The S stands for seconds. This is what we call a timed zoom. Any input for S other than 0 is considered timed. Here is an example. @zoom 349 383 to 8% in 4 The 4 represent the number of seconds it will take for your zoom to reach the exact coordinates you have given it. If you want your zooms to go in time with your character simply change the @ symbol at the start of your zoom and switch it to the and symbol & . IMPORTANT: if you do use the and symbol & your timed zoom and timed character action must have the same seconds. Transitions: Every story have ever read on episode has transitions at least once in the story. Transitions have a variety of uses and the default equation episode give you when you type in the word transition is : @transition fade in black @transition fade out in black Now there are a variety of transitions and colors that you can use. The different transitions are as followed: @transition fade in @transition fade out @transition iris in @transition iris out @transition shade up @transition shade down @transition curtain in_left @transition curtain out_left @transition curtain in_right @transition curtain out_right @transition curtain in_top @transition curtain out_top @transition curtain in_bottom @transition curtain out_bottom These transitions can be used to end a story, skip to a different scene, or whatever your heart desires. The colors that can be used are as followed: White Yellow Blue Green Red Magenta Black Orange Gray To use the colors suggested above you can use any transition but make sure you add this word to the end our your transition color . Here are some example: @transition fade in blue @transition curtain out_bottom white Timed Transitions: Now to do a timed transition is the exact same way that we do with zooms. At the end of the color you selected for your transition you're going to add the word in with a number. The number represents seconds again. Here is an example: @transition fade out black in 3 That is how you do a timed transition. Although unlike timed zooms you cannot add the and symbol & to the start of your transitions or it will not work.

I am going to show you how to put music and sound into your episode stories. Music and Sound both play an important part of any story as music can set the mood for a scene; and sound tell you what is either going to happen, what a character is saying our what is happening in a scene we with or without music. How to place music into your story: Placing music in your story is very simple. In your story script you're going to type the word music and then click the spacebar. You have two options you can do after that. You can either type in the word music and see a list like this: OR You so under the sound option on the right hand side. Click the Sounds arrow and you will see a variety of different sounds. Music is in here as well under three categories. The three categories you can find music under are ext_ , int_, and music. In the example picture below you will see we are under ext_ for music. Once you have selected the music piece you feel that best suits your story (ext, int, or music) your going to click or type out the one you want beside the word music. Now that scene has music! How to Adjust your music volume in your story: How to adjust your volume for your music in your episode story is simple. Set the volume of your music or sound (in this case use the word music) by using the volume sound command, Then the volume level (0-100) and finally the length of time (in milliseconds) you want the volume setting to be. So the original code before you add the numbers would be this: volume music X S Example with an input of numbers: volume music 0 4000 The above command will bring sound volume to 0 over the span of 4000 milliseconds (4 seconds), making the music appear to slowly fade out. If you want the music or sound volume to change immediately rather than a gradual transition, put 0 where you put the number of milliseconds. Example: volume music 90 0 The above command will bring music volume to 90 immediately. How To Turn Off Music: How to turn off music for a scene is really easy. On a blank line in your story script your going to type the word music, then click the spacebar, and then type the word off, then click the enter key. So what you just typed should look like this: Now your music will be off from that point on. How To Use Sound In Your Story: How to apply sound in your story is very similar to adding music into your story. Type the word sound, click the spacebar, then go over to the sound option on your right hand side (see the music example above) and choose the sound that would best match your scene; or you can type in the sound from the sound list (you can find on the right hand side of your story script under sound) and type the sound that would match best. In this case I’m going to do a vase breaking. This would be the input: How to set the volume of your sound effect: To set the volume of your sound effect is very similar (almost) the same coding as you did for the music. The only difference is your changing the word music with sound. So again set the volume of your music or sound by using the volume sound command Then the volume level (0-100) and finally the length of time (in milliseconds) you want the volume setting to be. It would look like this: volume sound X S X = volume level, 0 to 100 S = length of time, in milliseconds Here is an example that I have used before in my episode stories: volume sound 50 4000 The above command will bring sound volume to 20% over the span of 4000 milliseconds (4 seconds). How to turn off your sound: How to turn off your sound is just like how you would for your music. Just type the word sound, click the spacebar, then type the word off. So it would look like this sound off . I find you really only have to use this one is if your using a looping sound effect.
